The Supersprox company came to life in 1959 out of Wales in the UK. Supersprox prides themselves on their precision engineering and manufacturing of motorcycle sprockets, and so have a number of the worlds largest motorcycle producers. The likes of KTM, Husqvarna, Maico, Triumph, Norton, Honda and Yamaha have all collaborated with Supersprox for their OEM manufacturing over the years, legitimising the Supersprox brand as factory level quality coming from an aftermarket label.
The founders of Supersprox have always had a passion for motorcycles and gained experience in the early days from customers needing to manufacture your own replacement parts for motorcycles during the 1960's as there were limited options avaialable for replacement spare parts due to resource shortages after WW2.
Supersprox are undoubtedly the largest motorcycle sprocket manufacturer in Europe, with production facilities in Ukraine and Poland. They have pushed the envelope with grounbreaking technology and were the original inventor of the first hybrid sprocket in 1999 by using steel for the teeth, and saving weight with aluminium for the centre.
Supersprox has built a solid reputation over the years for quality motorcycle parts production around the world. American riders such as Malcolm Smith and Steve McQueen were likely to have run Supersprox on their Husqvarna's over the years during the On Any Sunday era. Neat Malcolm!
