The Bridgestone tyre company was founded in Japan in 1931 and has become one of the largest tyre manufacturing companies in the world over the one hundred years since it began. They have developed a number of high performance tyres and expanded the company over the years by acquiring other tyre companies such as Firestone Tire and Rubber in 1988, and offering a range of tyres for a number of categories and industries including sport, touring and off-road riding.

Bridgestone also supplies tyres for a number of other tyre brands and manufacturers and have a number of factories around the globe in Australia, Japan and China. Their ambition for being a key player in the competitive sporting world has seen them create and release their own patented technology to enhance grip, strength and durability in a wide range of conditions.

As well as being one of the biggest brands to produce motorcycle tyres, they also manufacture other accessories like motorcycle tubes for on and offroad machines to help riders keep their machines on the road.
