M2R is the proudly Australian founded and owned motorcycle helmet brand which came to life in 1992 with the goal of becoming the world's number 1 helmet brand. The name, which is an acronym for "Made2Race", originated from a desire to create high-quality helmets specifically for Australian motocross riders. What started out with just a single helmet design, has now snowballed until today they have over 40 different helmet models since their first design.

Coming from a hardcore motocross racing background, the brand eventually evolved and applied their expertise from working with some of the top racers to develop M2R models for Enduro, Trail, Street, Cruiser and Scooter rides. Even riders of Harley Davidsons have been known to run an M2R open face helmet which can be seen slung over their handlebars when they are parked as often as being worn by someone lining up at the race track on a 450!

M2R committed themselves to the industry by supporting and collaborating with some of the biggest names in the game. Top riders from a number of generations and disciplines have contributed their knowledge, experience and have provided feedback to the M2R team to continually improve their helmet design, comfort and the quality of the protection that they offer.
