In 1963 Sante Mazzarolo rolled three generations of leather craftsmanship and a decade of hands on experience designing sports footware into creating a brand that would become one of the major players of the motorcycle world, Alpinestars was born.
In the early years Sante and his team placed their focus on the offroad racing community and developed the first dedicated motorcross boot. They developed new technology and pushed the evolution of the motocross boot which other brands scrambled to emulate for years to come.
Over the years they partnered with a number of the top racers who were passionate about being the best, and constantly worked on bringing new technology to increase comfort, style, safety and performance for riders with motorcycle gear and protective gear.
They were the first to add plastic components to motorcycle boots and over the years developed the product range of the brand to cater to racers on the road and extended their efforts for more products that offer protection for all parts of the body of riders on the road and offroad.
Since then they have expanded into sports like F1 and all of the premier motorcycle racing championships and have dominated by being worn by more riders winning racers than many of the other big brands of the sport.
